An introduction to Blazor

Submitted by Poornima Jayamohan Nayar

Talk Abstract:

Run C# code on your browser, no plug-ins, no extensions and that's Blazor! Something a lot of developers have been dreaming of.

Blazor is a feature of ASP.NET. It lets you build interactive web UIs using C# instead of JavaScript. Yes, you write your client-side and server-side code in C#!!! It makes use of the latest web standards and requires no additional plug-ins or add-ons to run. Its big selling point is the ability to write rich web UI experiences using HTML, CSS, and C# instead of JavaScript..

My session will give an introduction to Blazor - discussing what is Blazor, what is Blazor WebAssembly, what is Blazor Server and an overview of Blazor Components. Attendees can gain a good understanding of this game-changing platform which could offer clarity when it comes to UI.
